Hey, that's me on the left! I look pretty serious here but I promise I am a very easy-going and approachable person. As a mechanical engineering undergrad at the University of Waterloo, I am proficient in CAD software, MS Office, as well as object-oriented programming languages such as Python and C++. I created this claw in SolidWorks as a part of a 6 wheel exploration vehicle out of LEGO Mindstorms. The axle from claw would be directly attached to a LEGO motor and controlled by the EV3 Brick. Due to COVID, this project is still unfinished.
This is a quick sketch I created to showcase the idea.
I designed this voltage control circuit in MATLAB. Not too bad for 11th grade me, although the labels can certainly be improved.
